Fiat Panda The best deal we've seen is a £2110 saving on the 1.2 Eleganza at Fiatsupasaver.com. You'll pay just £6695.

Ford Fiesta Save £3390 on the 1.25 16v Zetec Climate 5dr at Dealdrivers.co.uk. You'll pay £8155 instead of the usual £11,545.

Nissan Micra Nissan dealers aren't known for giving big discounts, but broker Carfile.net will sell you a 1.4 Acenta Plus 5dr for £8945. That's a saving of £1200 on the list price.

Seat Ibiza You can save £749 on the new 1.2 S 5dr (AC) Ibiza at Drivethedeal.com. That brings the price down to £8692.

Vauxhall Corsa Our mystery shoppers managed to haggle £1286 off the list price of a 1.2 16v Breeze 3dr at a dealer, which brought the price down to £8999.

Small family cars
Mazda 3 Internet broker Drivethedeal.com will sell you a 2.0D Sport for £16,234. That's a saving of £1771 on the list price.

Peugeot 308 Dealers are keen to shift 308s at the moment. The best saving our mystery shoppers managed to haggle was £2576 off the 1.6 THP 150 SE 5dr.
