How good is our crystal ball? - Peugeot 207 CC

18 October 2007
When Peugeot unveiled its Epure concept car at the 2006 Paris motor show, it was pretty much a production-ready car - the only real difference was its fuel-cell powerplant, which wouldn't make the engine line-up.

The 207 CC went on sale in March this year, with Peugeot hoping it would be as big a hit as the 206 CC was.

The 207 CC was always going to look similar to the 207 hatchback, so to simply chop the roof off was a bit of a no-brainer.

We can't see the back from this shot, so we'll give the artist the benefit of the doubt.

Production car

At a glance, the CGI and production model are identical.

If you look closely, though, the foglights have been moved into the grille on the final design, and are treated to an aluminium surround.

The front bumper is entirely colour-coded outside the grille, too.
