How good is our crystal ball? - Skoda Fabia

It was back in May last year that we showed you pictures of how the new Fabia might look.

Since then, it has sold well, there is an estate version on the way and there has been talk of a vRS performance model which buyers will able to personalise.

Computer-generated image The new Roomster gave an insight into how the Fabia might end up looking. Our artist predicted the front end would be almost identical to the Roomster's, so it was just the side profile that needed some work.

Production car Our artist had the Fabia pretty much spot-on. The headlights are slightly more squashed on the final design, and the door mirrors are smaller. Otherwise, there's little to tell the two apart.
