Our reaction to an emergency vehicle approaching from behind can range from blindly getting out of the way with no real clue as to where we are going and why, to being blissfully ignorant to the flashing blue lights and screaming sirens behind us.
So, what should you do when you see the blue flashing lights of an ambulance, fire engine or police car in your rear-view mirror?
