The first right-hand drive Hummer 4x4s will go on sale in the UK next year.
Although the gargantuan H1 Hummer popularised by Arnold Schwarzenegger has been discontinued, buyers can already get hold of left-hand-drive versions of the large H2 and slightly smaller H3.
From early next year, motorists will get the option of right-hand-drive versions of the H3, which is roughly the same size as a Nissan X-Trail.
Initially a 217bhp 3.5-litre petrol engine will be the only choice, but a diesel engine will be added later in 2007.
Both the H3 and the H2, which uses a 321bhp 6.0-litre V8 to pull the three-tonne car to 62mph in just 6.2 seconds, will make their UK show debut at the British Motor Show in July.
