Hyundai has unveiled the Talus, which it claims offers 'a vision of the future of sports vehicles'.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer isn't saying anything else about the Talus HCD9 until the car is unveiled at the Detroit Motor show in January.

The swept profile could provide some clues on how the next Coupe might shape up, but the Talus also looks pretty tall, so it may also suggest how 4x4s such as the Tucson and Sante Fe could look in the future.

More specific design elements, such as the slatted horizontal grille and headlights, could also become Hyundai traits in the future.
