Massive discounts mean the Hyundai Coupe is now cheaper than some superminis.
The final 1500 Coupes to be produced have been targeted for sale in UK – the biggest market for the car in Europe - at hugely discounted prices.
Massive discounts for UK buyers
A staggering £5035 discount on the list price of the 2.0 SIII model is being offered, knocking it down to just £12,995.
Scrappage cash also applies, so if you've got an old banger to trade-in you can also bag a further £1000 off, thanks to the Government's share of the scheme. That knocks the price down even more to just £11,995, which is cheaper than the list price of most Ford Fiestas.
A £5220 discount is available on the higher-spec TSIII, which cuts its price down to £14,295, or £13,295 if you're also entitled to a scrappage discount.
Standard kit on the 2.0 SIII includes leather upholstery, climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, heated front seats and MP3 connectivity.
The TSIII model has different alloys, a larger rear spoiler, quad exhaust pipes and quilted leather sports seats.
New Genesis coupe coming
Hyundai's new Genesis coupe – which has a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine and rear-wheel drive – will go on sale in the UK in 2010. A cheaper, front-wheel-drive coupe that will be a more direct replacement for the current Coupe, is expected to hit showrooms in 2011.
