The i30 comes with full iPod integration as standard, so you can play your iPod through your cars stereo and also use it to choose tracks without fiddling about with the device itself. It will also charge your iPod on the move.

The Coup also comes with an iPod cable, but you dont have the option of changing tracks remotely.

The i10 comes with an auxiliary input socket as standard, but there arent any iPod options on the rest of the range at present.

Jaguar
The new XF can be specced with a Portable Audio Interface for 375, which allows you to play music on your iPod or MP3 player. You can also play songs stored on a USB mass storage device, such as a memory stick, through the cars stereo.

All you do is plug the iPod into a cubbyhole (which can be closed to protect the device) and you can control the device using the seven-inch touch-screen. The option also includes a 3.5mm jack socket, a 12-volt power supply and a USB port - so that other MP3 players or a memory stick can be docked. USB Mass Storage devices can also be controlled via the touch-screen.

The Portable Audio Interface is available as an option with the standard sound system or the 320W premium sound system. A single CD player is then fitted in place of the in-dash six-disc player.

The Portable Audio Interface is included in the optional 440W Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, which is also available as an audio upgrade and which also includes the 6-disc player.

Other Jaguar models can be specced with a dealer-fit iPod kit (prices vary), but a similar system as the one available in the XF with be phased-in across from range in near the future.
