The engine, codenamed R-Engine, will be available as a 2.0-litre and 2.2-litre.
The 2.0-litre has 181bhp and 289lb ft of pulling power, while the 2.2-litre has 197bhp and 321lb ft of pulling power.
To meet Euro 5 emission standards the engine is fitted with a diesel particulate filter and an exhaust gas recirculation system.
