Mazda has launched a special edition of its MX-5 roadster.

The MX-5 Icon comes with the choice of two engines - a 125bhp 1.8-litre car costing £16,825 and a 139bhp 2.0-litre model costing £17,825.

Each has increased equipment over standard MX-5 models, including climate control, 'Icon'-branded black leather seats and floor mats and chrome trim. The cars come in three colours - Copper Red Mica, Marble White and Stormy Blue Mica.

Mazda is only building 875 examples of the 1.8-litre MX-5 Icon and 375 2.0-litre models. The cars are available to order now.
