Last week we brought you the new Infiniti G37 coupe - today we've got its 4x4 sibling, the EX.
Although this EX is billed as a concept car, Infiniti says this small off-roader is very similar to the production version. Along with the G37, it will be available at the new Infiniti dealers in the UK at the end of 2008.
Although the EX will have four-wheel drive, it is billed as a crossover, not a proper 4x4, and will use the same 3.7-litre V6 engine as the G37. There's the possibility of a diesel option, too, as Infiniti is planning to launch a 250bhp V6 diesel for its forthcoming European launch.
The show car features some new technology that will find its way into the production vehicle. The Around View Monitor displays information from cameras mounted around the car's exterior to reduce blind spots while parking. Lane Departure Prevention automatically corrects the car's position on the road if the driver allows it to drift out of a lane.
The EX will be pitched against small upmarket 4x4s such as the BMW X3, and will be priced at around £35,000.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
