Infiniti will herald its forthcoming arrival in Europe by launching its new FX 4x4 at the Geneva motor show in March.
Details of the second-generation off-roader remain scarce, although reports suggest it may feature a bigger engine than the current FX's 4.5-litre unit, with the V8 producing around 365bhp.
A DVD sat-nav, 21-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, leather seats, Bluetooth, air-con and a lane-departure-warning system are expected to be fitted as standard to the BMW X5 rival.
Infiniti will also show the rest of its cars intended for sale in the UK from late 2008. These are the V6-powered G Sedan, G coupe and EX coupe-4x4.
