Jeep has updated its Grand Cherokee range with a tweaked exterior and interior.

Outside, it gets a revised front end and grille surround, along with a new range of alloy wheels and a different headlamp design.

In the cabin, there are new colours, soft-touch materials on the dashboard, and different fabrics. There are also alterations to the instrument panel and steering column, and improved cup holders.

The new MyGIG 'infotainment' system is also a new option, with MP3-player compatibility, touch-screen satellite-navigation and a Bluetooth hands-free option.

Mechanically, nothing has changed, with the same 3.0-litre diesel unit up front, but Hill Descent Control has been added as standard on all diesel models.

A brand-new model will also be added to the range - the Grand Cherokee S-Limited, with further visual alterations - larger wheels, a rear spoiler and a different front end, mostly taken from the Grand Cherokee SRT-8.
