Jeep will launch a pair of new compact 4x4s in the UK next year, with starting price tags of less than £20,000.
The company had said it would choose between the Compass Rallye and the Patriot for UK distribution, but now says it will sell both.
The cars are based on the Dodge Caliber, so are around the same size as a Ford Focus. Four-wheel drive will be standard on every model, and buyers will have the choice of a 2.4-litre petrol or a 2.0-litre diesel from Volkswagen.
The Compass Rallye goes on sale in April, and will be followed by the Patriot in July.
The Patriot continues a familiar Jeep look, and is expected to outsell the 'hot-looking' Compass Rallye 10 to one.
