Skoda Joyster concept

This little Skoda Joyster concept is smaller than the company's Fabia supermini and could become the fifth member of the family.

The car is the first three-door Skoda in more than 25 years, and stands a good chance of entering production considering the manufacturer's commitment to earlier design studies, such as the Roomster which is now on sale.

It's aimed at young buyers and, although details are still sketchy at this stage, promises some interesting tricks inside the cabin, which Skoda boast is surprisingly roomy, and a split tailgate which opens up and down.

While the styling of the car gives some clues to how next-year's all-new Fabia will look, Skoda promises the Joyster is completely separate and distinct to the next-generation supermini.
