This is the first image of a Kia sports coupe concept that will be unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
The new concept car gives styling clues as to how all future Kia models will look.
The unnamed concept car is the work of Kia's new design chief Peter Schreyer, and is described by the company as 'a new face for Kia products in future, heralding a future product strategy based on design.'
Schreyer, who was recently awarded an honorary doctorate by the Royal College of Art in London for his contribution to automotive design over the last 25 years, said: 'Kia has given me the opportunity to shape its whole brand design and character. Seldom does a designer have such a clean sheet to work with.
'We started this exciting journey with the Kia ex_cee'd cabrio concept at the Geneva show in March, and at Frankfurt I'm sure Kia will surprise the entire automotive world when people see our new sports coupe concept in the metal.'
