This is the second official image of the Kia Pro-Cee'd, which will be revealed in full at the Frankfurt motor show in September.

The three-door hatchback will go on sale in early 2008.

'We wanted to make the Pro-Cee'd as sporty as it could possibly be, while remaining a member of the Cee'd family, said Gregory Guillaume, chief designer of Kia Motors Europe.

'We are pleased that the car's appearance remains so close to the concept we showed at the Paris motor show in 2006.

The three-door Kia Pro-cee'd has been so comprehensively reworked that only the bonnet and the front wing panels are carried over from the five-door model.
