This is the Kia Ray, a new city car designed solely for the Korean market.
The Ray has Kia’ latest ‘tiger nose’ front grille, but the rest of the design is designed to maximise cabin space within its compact dimensions. As a result, it has a boxy, upright shape that should provide plenty of headroom.
The cabin also has a sliding rear seat, to provide a bias towards either passenger or luggage space. An unusual side door layout helps to improve access – there’s a conventional door on one side, but a sliding door on the other to aid entry and exit in tight spaces.
Kia says there are no plans to sell the Ray outside the Korean market.
