Kia has released sketches of its new BMW 7 Series-sized rear-wheel-drive saloon.

The KH, as it's known, has a large version of the Kia family grille, and the flagship model will target the same luxury market as the BMW 7 Series.

It's expected to come with a selection of V6 and V8 petrol engines, while it will share its rear-wheel-drive platform with Hyundai’ range-topping Equus.

The KH is expected to follow the car maker’s domestic naming policy, and the final production model could be named K9.

It will go on sale in Korea in the first half of this year, and while it could be sold elsewhere in the Far East and America, there are no plans to bring it to Europe.
