This is Kia's pro_cee'd concept car, which is set to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show this month.
The pro_cee'd is a taster for a three-door sport hatch version of the cee'd, Kia's Ford Focus rival that will be on sale here by the end of the year.
Kia says the three-door version, which will join the cee'd line up by the end of 2007, will look very similar to the pro_cee'd concept on show in Paris.
The sport hatch will be the third model built on the cee'd platform, following the introduction of the five-door version in December and an estate, which is due next year.
Like the concept, the sport hatch model will have a lower roofline than the five-door cee'd and smaller, chrome-trimmed side windows.
The pro_cee'd has four bucket-style backrests and although the three-door version is aimed at younger drivers, it remains to be seen whether these seats will remain for the production version.
