Kia is recalling its face-lifted Sorento 4x4s following the discovery of a problem with the wiring to the side curtain airbags.
The wiring has been transposed on right-hand drive models, meaning that an impact on the left of the car could result in the airbag on the right side going off, and vice versa. It affects models built between May 2006 and March 2007.
Kia says there are no reported cases of this in the UK but is notifying 1561 Sorento owners to contact their local Kia dealer work for free remedial work.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
