Kia has announced prices for its new Sportage Crossover, with the range kicking off at £16,645 for the entry-level 1.6 petrol model.

A 2.0-litre diesel 'First Edition' special edition model went on sale last month for £20,777, with most of the 700 cars earmarked for the UK already sold.
Earlier this month, Kia said a 2.0-litre petrol First Edition would be released for £19,495. However the prices revealed today are for the full range.

The line-up comprises of a 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre petrol versions and a 1.7 and 2.0-litre diesels. The smaller petrol and diesel engines are fitted to the two-wheel-drive models, while the 2.0-litre versions are four-wheel-drive. The car is available in 1, 2 and 3 trims.

The complete range goes on sale November 1, and full specifications will be released next month.
