LA Auto Show 2011 - Mazda CX-5

The main attraction on Mazda's stand at the LA Auto Show is its CX-5 SUV.

Actually, that's not quite true. The main attraction was Hollywood actor Patrick Dempsey, who was helping promote the CX-5.

The car was unveiled at the Frankurt motor show in September.

The CX-5 is the first model to be built using Mazda’s ‘Skyactiv’ technology, which is designed to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions through a combination of lightweight construction and all-new petrol and diesel engines.
