Land Rover will not exhibit at next year's Detroit motor show, and instead will be showcasing its products at the Auto Expo in Delhi.
The two motor shows take roughly at the same time, with the Delhi show in the first week of January and the Detroit just a few days later.
Land Rover is owned by Tata, one of India's biggest companies. A Land Rover insider said: 'Increasingly, the Delhi show will be seen as our home show.'

No new Land Rover models are expected to be revealed at the Delhi show, which starts on January 5, 2012.
