Last Mini Convertibles get tweaked

Mini has launched a new special edition of its Convertible range, called Sidewalk.
Although the new Mini has just gone on sale, the Convertible version won't be available until 2008. To keep interest in the existing Mini Convertible high, it has launched this new edition.
Mini Convertible Sidewalks are available in One, Cooper and Cooper S trims, and will be offered with a choice of four body colours, leather upholstery, 17-inch alloy wheels, and two-tone leather steering wheel and gearknob.
In One and Cooper trims, the Sidewalk editions come with a five-speed manual gearbox, and the Cooper S trim comes with a six-speed transmission.
Additional Mini options that are standard on Sidewalk cars include stability control and traction control, multi-function steering wheel, on-board computer, and passenger seat-height adjustment.
Mini says the car is available in April 2007, and will cost £16,910 for Mini One-trimmed versions. Cooper cars will cost £17,960, and Cooper S models cost £20,235.
