Latest Euro NCAP tests: Mini and Peugeot - Peugeot 207 CC

20 April 2007
Adult occupant protection 5/5 stars
Front impact 81%
Side impact 100%
Child protection n/a
Pedestrian protection 44% 2/4 stars

The passenger was very well restrained by the seatbelt and his knees did not contact the dashboard during the impact.

In its child protection tests, Euro NCAP set the front seats to the mid position for front/rear adjustment. However, with the front seats in that position, Euro NCAP said it was not possible to fit Peugeot's recommended child restraint system into the rear seats.

Rather than compromise the validity of the adult occupant results by moving the front seats forward, Euro NCAP didn't test the 207CC with child restraints, so there's no result for child protection for the car.

Like the Mini Cooper, the 207 CC also scored just two stars for pedestrian protection, however Euro NCAP noted that 207's bumper scored maximum points for the protection offered to pedestrians' legs.

The 207 hatchback has already scored three stars for pedestrian protection in a previous Euro NCAP test.
