Lexus is recalling almost 4000 cars in the UK after a problem was found with the welding around a fuel pipe.
The problem affects IS250 models sold between June 3, 2005 and December 2, 2005 and, GS300 models sold between September 28, 2004 and November 22, 2005.
In total, 3921 Lexus' will be recalled.
All owners of the affected cars will be contacted direct by Lexus and asked to take their car to a service centre for free repair work.
Lexus says it will take an average of 3.5 hours to replace the faulty fuel pipe.
The UK problem is part of a far wider worldwide initiative, with Lexus recalling 274,000 cars in Europe, America and Japan.
The problem with the weld around a fuel pipe seam came to light after customers in Japan complained of fuel leaking into their engine bays.
