Lexus will recall 3238 vehicles in the UK that could be affected by an engine problem.
The fault is in the valve operating system of some Lexus engines and could cause the engine to misfire and possibly stall unexpectedly.
There are concerns that the strength of the valve spring could degrade, causing it to break. If this happens, the engine will misfire and the engine warning light will illuminate.
Lexus says that no accidents have been reported in relation to this fault.
Recalls
The recall will affect the following cars:
GS 450h
GS 460
LS 460
LS 600h
The car maker says no other Lexus models, or any Toyota models sold in the UK, are affected.
