Saab will unveil a limited edition 9-3 called the Turbo X at this year's Frankfurt motor show.
Although details are scarce, sources suggest the car will be based on Saab's recently revamped V6 Aero saloon, boasting around 300bhp and all-wheel drive.
The car has been produced as a celebration of Saab's 30 years of making turbocharged car engines.
It is only expected to be available in black, in homage to the Saab 99 and 900 'Black Turbos'.
