What is it? Although it is the same width and length as its three-door sister, the five-door car is 30mm higher, thanks to a raised roofline that helps to create more space inside.
As well as the extra headroom, says Land Rover, rear-seat passengers in the five-door car have an additional 50mm more shoulder room than those in the three-door, while a full-length glass roof floods the cabin with light.
The three-seat rear bench has ISOFIX child-seat mounts, is split 60/40 and can be folded down to leave 1445 litres of boot space – slightly less than a Nissan Qashqai.
For the driver, the cabin gets the same touch-screen control system as the three-door model and is made of high-quality materials. Buyers can also specify leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching across almost every surface of the instrument panel, doors and seats.
