Maserati will unveil its Quattroporte Sport GT S at the Frankfurt motor show.
The car has a 400bhp 4.2-litre V8 linked to an automatic six-speed gearbox, but the Sport GT S benefits from sports suspension and special brake discs that use cast iron and aluminium to ensure maximum stopping power at all times.
Other changes from the standard GT S include a blackened chrome front grille, blacked-out side windows and a black twin exhaust.
The car also has dark chrome 20-inch alloy wheels and additional leather and Alcantara trim.
No prices have been revealed, but sources suggest the car will cost around £85,000.
