This is the Mazda 6 Venture Edition, a special-edition version of the popular family car.
Available as a petrol or diesel hatchback, and diesel estate, the Mazda 6 Venture Edition will be priced from £21,000 – a premium of £340-£480 over the Mazda 6 TS2 on which it's based.
The special-edition version builds on the TS2's standard kit – which includes six airbags, rain-sensing wipers, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, and front and rear parking sensors – with the addition of sat-nav, Bluetooth, half-leather upholstery and heated front seats.
Venture Edition cars are also enhanced by 17-inch gunmetal alloys, a sports front grille and privacy glass. There's a special range of colours to choose from, including: Brilliant Black, Crystal White Pearlescent, Black Mica and Stormy Blue Mica, as well as a unique colour for this version – Dolphin Grey Mica.
Hatchback buyers can choose between a 153bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine, with average economy of 40.9mpg and CO2 emissions of 159g/km, and the 161bhp 2.2-litre diesel, which returns 53.3mpg and emits 140g/km. The estate uses the same diesel engine, but emissions increase slightly to 141g/km.
The Mazda 6 Venture Edition is available to order now. Just 257 examples of each version will be built.
