The new Mazda CX-7 will cost from £23,960 when it goes on sale in September.
The seven-seater 4x4 will go on sale in one specification, with a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.
Features include a Bose stereo system, front, side and curtain airbags, leather seats, climate control and 18-inch alloy wheels.
With the rear seats up, the boot has a volume of 455 litres, increasing to 774 litres with the back seats folded.
Mazda is hoping for sales of 1000-1500 CX-7s a year.
