Mazda will unveil its revised 2 supermini at the Paris Motor Show next month.
The most obvious change is at the front end, which now sports the latest Mazda family look. At the same time, the interior has been upgraded, while the chassis has been adjusted to give a more comfortable ride. An automatic gearbox will be available for the first time.
The full engine line-up now complies with Euro V emissions standards, and the revised car will go on sale in the UK in October.
A month later, UK buyers will be able to get their hands on the new 5 MPV, which is also on show for the first time at Paris.
The seven-seat MPV features sliding rear doors and a new 1.6-litre diesel engine that averages almost 55mpg and emits 15% less CO2 than the 2.0-litre engine in the previous car.
A version of the same 1.6-litre engine will also appear in the 3 small family car in Paris. Although it has more power and torque than the engine it replaces, it also has better fuel consumption and lower emissions: 64.2mpg average economy and CO2 emissions of 117g/km.
