McLaren supercar enters production

- MP4-12C Chassis 01 now being built
- Up to 1000 will be built in 2011
McLaren's Ferrari-baiting MP4-12C has finally entered production at the company's HQ in Woking, Surrey.
Chassis 01 will be ready by the spring and followed by up to 1000 more of the supercars this year.
The £168,500 supercar is powered by a 592bhp 3.8-litre V8 and is a direct rival for the Ferrari 458.
