This is the Renault Megane Renaultsport Trophy – the most powerful road-going Megane Renaultsport to date.
If the 247bhp Megane Renaultsport Cup isn't quite quick enough for you, the Trophy has an extra 14bhp, boosting power up to 261bhp.
That means 0-62mph is 0.1 seconds faster in the Trophy – at 6.0 seconds – while overall top speed is 158mph, up from 156.
The Trophy has the same chassis as the Cup version, but comes with Recaro seats with yellow seatbelts and detailing, and 19-inch alloys in gloss black with red detailing and the RS logo on the centre cap. It also has Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres.
The car also gets Trophy red decals on the air intake and doors, LED running lights and a Renaultsport Monitor on-board performance tracker.
That monitor may come in handy because customers will get free access to all Renaultsport trackdays in the UK next year.
The car comes in either Liquid Yellow or black metallic.
The only option is the £415 Diamond Black gloss roof. The Trophy is limited to just 500 models, with 50 earmarked for the UK. Each UK car will get its own numbered plaque.
At £27,820, the Trophy is £3800 more than the Megane Renaultsport Cup. The order book opens on June 20, with deliveries expected at the end of July.
