Outside, Mercedes has restyled the bumpers to give the car a slightly beefier look, plus it's fitted new LED lights and reshaped the door mirrors, so there's even less wind noise. A more angular front grille finishes things off.

The changes in the cabin are just as subtle. There's extra wood and chrome, and you can now alter the colour of the ambient interior lighting to suit your mood.
