Mercedes Concept Fascination - Introduction

This is the Mercedes Concept Fascination – a design study that shows how the next E-Class models will look.

The concept car will be unveiled at the Paris motor show next month, and has been designed to combine practicality with the sporty styling associated with a coupe.

While the rear end hints at the E-Class estate's styling, the front end shows the coupe version's looks.

Flowing lines are central to the concept car's look, although styling touches such as the frameless side windows are not expected to make it into production.

Likewise, the indents that incorporate the door handles as they flow along the length of the body are unlikely to make it on sale.

However, features such as the large panoramic roof are likely to be preserved in order to give the coupe's cabin a particularly airy feel.
