The enormous new Mercedes-Benz 'brand experience' at Brooklands will open in October.
Mercedes-Benz World – near Weybridge in Surrey – includes a huge showroom, big enough to house every car and every colour in the range, a simulated 'infotainment' ride designed to replicate what a C-Class goes through during its production process, a cinema and restaurants.
Visitors will also be able to get to grips with models on a handling circuit, which includes a wet skid circle, and put 4x4s through their paces on a 10-acre off-road course.
The development brings motoring back to Brooklands, which was the world's first purpose-built motorsport facility and well known for its famous banked turn.
The existing Brooklands Museum worked with the manufacturer on the redevelopment of the site, and, from October, will be accessed using the main entrance to Mercedes-Benz World.
