Mercedes-Benz has launched a sportier version of it SLK 55 AMG Roadster.
Called the Black Series, the car's 5.5-litre engine has been boosted from 360bhp to 400bhp. In addition, the car has been lightened by 45kg.
As a result, the 0-62mph time drops from 4.9sec to 4.5sec, and the unrestricted top speed is 173mph, compared with the standard model's restricted 155mph.
The car also benefits from sports suspension, lightweight and more powerful brake discs, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
A fixed hard top, rather than the standard model's folding metal roof, helps lower the car's weight.
Carbonfibre-reinforced front wings and large air intakes are among other styling changes made to the outside of the car.
Inside, it has two sports seats, but they mean that side airbags can't be installed in the car.
Options include a limited-slip differential, more leather, and exterior and interior carbonfibre styling packages.
The car costs 92,500 Euros - UK buyers having that price converted to sterling when they order. At current exchange rates, the price would be around £63,000.
