Chinese car maker Nanjing Automobile has announced that it is nearly ready to restart production of the MG TF at Longbridge.
There's no firm date yet – a Nanjing spokesman would only confirm that production in the Midlands plant will restart in spring.
Nanjing has removed most of MG's original machinery to its Chinese factory, meaning that Longbridge will only be responsible for final assembly of right-hand-drive TFs.
