A Mini crossover might sound bizarre – an abomination, even – but wait until you've seen the Countryman in the metal before you give your verdict.
Come to see the Countryman
What Car? is inviting six lucky readers to do just that at an exclusive private preview of Mini’s extraordinary Countryman crossover – we want your opinions on Mini’s radical new take on a motoring icon.
Those readers will be the first members of the British public to see the Countryman ahead of its on-sale date this autumn, when it will cost from £16,000.
When and where?
The preview will take place from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, April 28 at Mini’s HQ in Berkshire.
We’ll be asking for your views on the car’ design, ergonomics and specification – your comments will be published in the July issue of What Car? magazine, along with your photo. You’ll also be asked to speak briefly on camera for footage to be broadcast on whatcar.com.

If you would like to take part, e-mail readertestteam@haynet.com by midnight, Sunday, April 11 with your name, mobile phone number, your current car, and where you’ll be travelling from on the day. Please include a few lines on why you’re interested in seeing the Mini Countryman. We’ll be in touch on Monday, April 12 if you’ve been successful, with further details of the event.
Please note that this is a static viewing of the Countryman, and you won't be able to drive the car.
