Mini's new two-seat Coupe will be on sale in late autumn.
There will be four variants of the Coupe, the Cooper, Cooper S, John Cooper Works, and Cooper SD. Each will get a six-speed manual or a six-speed auto, except the John Cooper Works, which is available as a manual only.
The Coupe has a unique body and interior, is nearly 3cm lower than the Mini hatchback and has an active rear spoiler. The Coupe also has a high-opening tailgate and a large luggage area with through-loading facility.
The engines available at launch are common to other MINI models but the performance figures are fractionally better than any other model in the Mini line-up.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
