Mini is to resurrect the Clubman name for its forthcoming Mini estate.
The new estate version of the Mini will be based on the concept car first seen at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show, and since exhibited at other motor shows around the world.
Mini is giving the new car the name Mini Clubman, a name carried on face-lifted Minis between 1969 and 1980. The new Mini Clubman takes its inspiration from another classic Mini, the Morris Mini Traveller, which ran from 1960-1969.
BMW says the Mini Clubman will be available before the end of the year. Take a look at our gallery by clicking 'More pictures' on the left to see more pictures of the Mini Clubman in concept car form.
