Mitsubishi has extended its ASX SUV range with a special-edition ASX Black model.

Available as a cost option on the top ASX 4 trim, the Black edition has black 17-inch alloy wheels and a black roof. The spoiler, mirrors, grille and foglamp surrounds are all finished in black, too.

The interior has bespoke black leather trim and carbonfibre inserts.

The ASX Black is available in six colours and with a choice of a 1.6-litre 115bhp petrol or a 1.8-litre 147bhp diesel engine. Four-wheel drive is a £2100 option with the diesel engine.

There’s a £1000 premium for ASX Black models, with prices starting at £21,099 for the 1.6 2WD.
