Mitsubishi L200: First drive - Introduction

02 November 2005
Mitsubishi reckons next year's distinctive new L200 will sweep past the recently launched Nissan Navara and quickly reclaim the top spot in the sales charts.

The L200 goes on sale in March in two forms. One will be an out-and-out commercial vehicle, while the other will be much better equipped and aimed at combining the virtues of a working tool and recreational family car.

These are likely to start at around £20,000, but register the L200 through your business and you'll be able to claw the 17.5% VAT back.

The Warrior and Animal names continue, and will be joined by a new Elegance version. This does away with the bullish bumpers and running boards of the Animal, but retains a high specification in the cabin.
