Mitsubishi to offer cheap servicing

Mitsubishi is to offer a three-year servicing package on all its new cars, starting with the all-new i city car, which goes on sale this July.

The service plan on the i car will cost £150, which Mitsubishi claims will save owners £165 in servicing costs over three years.

Prices for the servicing packages on other models have yet to be confirmed, but Mitsubishi UK's sales and marketing director Lance Bradley said: 'We hope to offer the three-year package for roughly the equivalent of the car's first service.'

That would mean, for example, an L200 pick-up could have a three-year servicing package for around £260.
