Sat-nav now comes as standard with all Citroen C5 VTR+ models.
Renamed VTR+ Nav, the C5's most popular trim now gets Citroen's MyWay fully integrated sat-nav system as standard.
A seven-inch colour screen, European mapping, voice guidance and Bluetooth are all included. There are also MP3 player inputs in the glovebox.
Live traffic information and route recalculation software come as part of the sat-nav system. Traffic information is provided by Trafficmaster, and it comes without a subscription fee.
Prices for the VTR+ Nav start at £18,795 for the 1.8i saloon and rise to £23,295 for the 2.0 HDi Tourer auto.
Meeting demand
Citroen says that it has added sat-nav to meet demand from both private and fleet buyers. Prices for all C5 models increased by £500 in June, but the VTR+ Nav costs £900 more than the previous VTR+ models.
New V6 diesel engine
The new 3.0 HDi model now heads the C5 range, replacing the previous 2.7 HDi. Its V6 diesel engine is more powerful, but also cleaner and more economical.
Model 2.7 HDi 3.0 HDi
Maximum power: 205bhp 237bhp
Average fuel economy: 33.6mpg 38.0mpg
CO2 emissions: 223g/km 195g/km
As with the 2.7 HDi, the 3.0 HDi comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox as standard and is available only in top-spec Exclusive trim. The saloon version costs £27,195, while the Tourer is £28,295.
