Mazda's MX-5 roadster coupe will cost from £18,210 when it goes on sale in November.
That means the MX-5 with a folding glass-fibre roof will cost £1200 more than the soft-top equivalent.
There's a choice of a 1.8-litre petrol married to a five-speed gearbox or 2.0-litre with either a five-speed or six-speed gearbox. The 2.0-litre version starts at £19,210.
UK numbers of the roadster coupe are restricted to just several hundred models (exact numbers are yet to be released), but Mazda has set up a website for pre-launch orders at www.mx5roadstercoupe.co.uk.
For your money, you get that folding glass-fibre roof, alloy wheels, and climate control. You also get two side airbags as standard for the head and torso, which are integrated into the seatback sides.
