Chinese-owned car maker Nanjing Automobile Group (NAG) wants to sell 3600 cars in the UK in 2008.
It has established a 50-strong dealer network across Great Britain ahead of the launch of the MG TF roadster in February 2008, and hopes to expand its network to 100 dealers through the course of the year.
However, a spokesman has confirmed that the vast majority of these dealers will be dual or multi-franchises.
In February, NAG will bring 500 TF LE 500 models to the UK, with the TF 135 going on sale before May 2008. No prices have been announced.
